IHEC aims to coordinate epigenome mapping for a broad spectrum of human cell types and a wide range of developmental stages. By setting quality standards and providing recommendations for epigenomic analysis the individual national research endeavours feeding into IHEC will create for the first time a comprehensive set of epigenetic data.
